ARCTIC FLEX 3183Y

APPLICATION:

Arctic grade cable manufactured to BS6004. The British standard cable will remain flexible to as low as -40 degrees celsius, This makes it ideal for indoor or outdoor use to power portable tools or temporary traffic lights.

Conductor: Plain annealed flexible stranded copper conductor

Insulation: Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)

Sheath: Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)

CHARACTERISTICS

Voltage Rating: 300/500 Volts

Temperature Rating: Flexing -40°C to +70°C

Should not be installed at temperatures below 0OC or above +60OC

***Cable size is in mm² and describes the total cross sectional area of the copper conductor.  You will often see cable described as 1mm or 2mm cable without the ² sign. It is  very important to note that this does not refer to the  diameter of the cable, This is a completely different measurement.
